NAMA certification: what CAMS-II means
The Certified Anger Management Specialist II (CAMS-II) is the clinical tier of certification issued by the National Anger Management Association. It is held by licensed mental health professionals and authorizes clinical anger management services, including client assessment.
In this program the division of labor follows that certification structure. Only the CAMS-II director performs assessments and provides clinical services. Group and private education sessions are taught by an educator working under the director supervision, and education sessions are education and coaching, not therapy or counseling.
- CAMS-II awarded May 2026, National Anger Management Association
- Clinical tier: requires a professional mental health license
- Assessments performed only by the CAMS-II director
- Every report and certificate signed by the CAMS-II director
The CAMS-II credential is Dr. Winner's personal professional certification through the National Anger Management Association. AngerManaged does not claim that NAMA approves, accredits, or endorses this program.
